Chelsea Players is happy to announce auditions for Specs, an original play by Norwich native John Morrison. In the play, three brothers are living in one apartment in Philadelphia and scheme to get rich or at least pay off their debt to their mother, the bookie.

The cast calls for 3 males who could be brothers and 5 smaller parts, 2-3 of which could be female. There is a brief (comedic) fight scene between the brothers so physical fitness is mildly important. Show dates are the weekends of November 12-13 and 19-20. Rehearsals will be 2 nights a week.

Auditions are at Norwich Arts Center, 62 Broadway, Norwich, CT, at 7:30 August 18th and 19th.

Enter through the stage door on Church St. Please park on the street, not the Church parking lot. Or park at United Congregational Church and hike up the hill.

The Chelsea Players' cabaret, Live from the Stage Door Canteen was a success. Major props to the Beth Jacob Synagogue and Prime 82 for hosting the show.
